The Center for Prevention of Abuse is hosting the 29th Annual Duck Race, which raises funds to provide services to help all women, men, and children live free from violence and abuse in Central Illinois. The family fun event has free activities for kids, including bounce houses, face painting, a photo booth, and more. Refreshments are available for purchase from Papa Murphey's and Kona Ice. The race features 25,000 rubber ducks that race down a giant water slide, which will run down the street leading to Eastside Centre in East Peoria, Illinois. The person whose duck makes it to the finish line first will be the winner of $5,000. There are also many other great prizes to be awarded.

This year will also feature a Superhero Kid's Cleanup Crew. All kids interested in helping to clean up will receive a superhero cape and mask.

The fun begins at 12:00 PM this Saturday, with the race starting at 2:00 PM. For more information, visit www.duckracepeoria.com.
