DESCRIPTION:The Annual Terry Brewer Memorial Golf Outing is named for former Fire Chief Terry J. Brewer who was a longtime Chamber volunteer and a faithful civil servant who spent much of his life making East Peoria a better place to live and work.   Terry Brewer died in 1994 after a year-long battle with cancer. His death occurred within a week of the annual golf outing he had chaired for many years.\n \n\nFunds raised at the outing support not only the Chamber\, but also fund the Terry J. Brewer Community Service Memorial Scholarship\, which is given each year to at least one graduating East Peoria Community High School senior.
