DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2013 Mayor's Prayer Breakfast\, featuring Jean Driscoll. Now a world class athlete\, Boston Marathon racer\, Olympic silver medalist\, author and motivational speaker\, Jean was born with spina bifida (an open spine). It affected her ability to walk and had other neurological complications as well. Jean founded the non-profit organization "determined to win" and hopes to jumpstart the dreams of others.  With "wheels for the world" she works as a trainer and advocate.\n\n\n\nFor over 20 years\, she has offered encouragement and motivation as a speaker to hundres of thousands of people worldwide. In addition to motivational speaking\, Jean works as the Assistant Dean for Advancement in the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois.\n\n\n\nJean will also be selling copies of her book\, "Determined to Win."
