Is there a relationship between bad policy decisions and public corruption?  Most importantly\, is there anything we can do to fix Illinois?\n\n	\n\n	University of Illinois Springfield Peoria Center and UIS Alumni Peoria Chapter are hosting an evening with Dr. Kent Redfield on Thursday\, April 26\, 2012\, in room 203 of the ICC Perley Building\, 115 SW Adams\, Peoria\, IL.  Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments served at 5:30 pm.  Program begins at 6 pm.\n\n	Registration is requested (309) 999-4250 or email: wise.jana@uis.edu\n\n	\n\n	Dr. Kent Redfield is an emeritus professor of Political Science at the University of Illinois Springfield.  His teaching and research interests are in Illinois politics\, campaign finance\, political ethics and local government and administration.  The results of his research include Cash Clout\, a book on financiang legislative elections in Illinois and Money Counts\, a book on the role of money in Illinois politics.  Dr. Redfield worked as a member of the research/appropriations staff for the Speaker of the General Assembly prior to joining the faculty at the University.
