DESCRIPTION:Caterpillar Employees Mixed Chorus Announces 77th Anniversary Production\n\n"Once Upon a Mattress" will be featured performance\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Caterpillar Employees Mixed Chorus (CEMC) is celebrating its 77th anniversary in 2018 with "Once Upon a Mattress\, directed by Paula Graves\, at Eastlight Theatre Oct. 25   28\, 2018.\n\n \n\nPerformances are scheduled Thursday\, Oct. 25 through Sunday\, Oct. 28. Show times are 7:30 p.m. (CST) Oct. 25   27\, with a 2:00 p.m. (CST) matinee on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28. Hosting this year's production is Eastlight Theatre at East Peoria High School\, located at 1401 E. Washington St.\, East Peoria\, Illinois. Tickets are $11.\n\n\n\n\n\nTicket sales begin Wednesday\, Sept. 26\, online at www.eastlighttheatre.com/tickets. The Eastlight Theatre Box Office located at the Festival of Lights Building\, 2200 E. The club's first appearance was at a Christmas program in the East Peoria HH Theatre. The Chorus was founded as a musical outlet for employees\, retirees\, and dependents to foster and promote the love of music for the enjoyment of employees and their families. Caterpillar Inc. has sponsored the Employees Mixed Chorus for the past 77 years\, making it the oldest employee activity of its kind in the world. Every fall the Chorus presents a major musical production with additional Chorus musical activities including a Spring Variety Show performed at local retirement communities.
