DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery hosts Recovery Walks! Recovery Walks! is a day of celebration and fun. This family-friendly event\, includes lunch\, live music\, face painting\, Balloon Artist - The Unique Twist\, as well as\, a leisurely group walk on our paved walking trail while celebrating recovery. There will also be a silent auction with donations from restaurants\, sports teams\, wellness centers and other local businesses. All proceeds from the event go towards the Ameel Rashid Scholarship for Addiction Recovery.
