DESCRIPTION:Please join us as we recognize two University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) graduates who have become senior physician leaders in their hospital systems. Each year the Peoria Medical Alumni Council (PMAC) recognizes a UICOMP graduate for their career accomplishments. This year\, PMAC selected two nominees  \n\nDr. Stephen Hippler (Class of 1984) and Dr. Keith Knepp (Class of 1997). \n\nStephen Hippler\, MD\, FACP\, completed internal medicine residency at the Mayo clinic in Rochester\, Minnesota\, and returned to Peoria in 1987. In addition to clinical care and clinical research\, he assumed increasing administrative responsibilities within OSF Healthcare where he currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer. \n\nKeith Knepp\, MD\, completed family medicine residency in 2000 in Peoria and then entered clinical practice in Eureka. In 2007\, he returned to Peoria as a faculty member of the Family Medicine Residency. He assumed progressively more administrative responsibilities and is currently the President and CEO at UnityPoint Health Central Illinois. \n\nWe are proud that two of our graduates have such prominent leadership roles in our medical community.
