The East Peoria Chamber of Commerce Leadership School offers a unique opportunity to enhance leadership skills and network with other business people in the area. The school provides engaging, educational and leadership skill development opportunities for individuals who, in turn, give back to the business, civic and service needs of the communities in which they live and work. Participants will:
- Develop tactical leadership skills beyond those they currently possess;
- Expand their knowledge and understanding of the East Peoria community.
Sessions begin at 6:45 a.m. with a continental breakfast. The program begins at 7 a.m. and concludes by 9 a.m.
The school concludes with graduation and group presentations at the Chamber's Eggs and Issues on Friday, December 2, at the Par-A-Dice Hotel.
Deadline to register is September 9th.
Participation guidelines: A participant will get the most of his/her leadership school experience by actively participating in each session. Participants will be required to work on a small-group project at scheduled times during class and outside of class. Participants should plan to spend 2 hours each week in class and 1-3 hours to commit to school tasks and small group meetings to work on the project.
