EAST PEORIA – The May 1 deadline is approaching to receive a $50 discount off the seasonal vendor fee for those wishing to be an East Peoria Farmers Market vendor.
Vendors are being sought for the fourth annual East Peoria Farmers Market, to be held weekly on Fridays from 3 until 6 p.m. June 5 until Sept. 25 in The Levee District downtown area on the pedestrian promenade near Gordman’s. There will be no market on July 3.
Vendors can sell fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, plants, eggs, poultry, baked goods, and approved jellies and jams that they have produced in the State of Illinois.
Proof of liability insurance and vehicle insurance, and copies of any necessary state or local license permits are required.
Vendors can participate on a seasonal or weekly basis. A booth for the 16 Fridays is $150 by May 1 or $200 thereafter but before May 29. Weekly fee is $30 per week, due on or before noon the day of the market the vendor plans to attend.
