ICC will host a separate open forum for each candidate the week of March 28, where members of the community can meet and ask questions of the finalists. Additional closed forums are scheduled throughout the week for candidates to meet with students, faculty, and staff.
Public forums are scheduled for each candidate from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., in the Tranquility Room on the ICC East Peoria Campus on the following dates:
•Dr. Elliott: Monday, March 28
•Dr. Quirk-Bailey: Tuesday, March 29
•Dr. Wynes: Wednesday, March 30
•Dr. Hilgersom: Thursday, March 31
The public is encouraged to attend each of the sessions to meet all four finalists and ask questions. While not required, RSVPs are requested to help the college provide adequate seating. A light lunch will be served. Participants may RSVP by visiting icc.edu/rsvp-for-the-president/
ICC’s Board of Trustees plans to interview each of the candidates the week of March 28. It also will consider further due diligence and the feedback it gathers from employees, students, and the community during the forum sessions in making its final decision, which is expected sometime in April. The Board hopes to have the new president in place by June or July, in time for the fall 2016 semester.
