Robotic-Assisted Prostate Surgery Educational Talk

To help educate the Peoria community about the many benefits of robotic-assisted prostate surgery, Christie Clinic Urologist Dr. Eric Helfer will present “The Most Minimally-Invasive Approach to Prostate Cancer Surgery” during this free event.  

Guests will also get the chance to test drive the robotic technology Dr. Helfer uses to perform robotic-assisted prostate surgery at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.

Compared to open surgery, patients who choose robotic-assisted prostate surgery benefit from better cancer control, faster return of erectile function and a better chance for return of urinary continence.
