The Business of Art is a one day event designed to connect entrepreneurial artists with business professionals who can help them navigate the world of business. Through seminars and networking, The Business of Art will assist artists of all disciplines with establishing or enhancing their businesses.This year you can attend 3 breakout sessions.
Two of the nine speakers are members of the East Peoria Chamber:
Ross Miller, the Director of the Technology Commercialization Center, part of the IL SBDC at Bradley University, will be hosting the sessions "Artist to Entrepreneur: Starting a Business" at 10am & 2:15pm and "Customers Buy Benefits" at 12:45pm and Tammy Finch, owner of Web Tech Services, will be hosting the session "The Art of Email Marketing - The Power of the Inbox" at 12:45pm & 2:15pm.

Attendees will be able to sign up for a one-on-one, 15 minute session with a SCORE representative on the day of the event. Score provides advice, through educational workshops and personalized free confidential counseling, to those who want to start-up their own business or those who want to develop their existing small business.
