On any given night in our community, hundreds of men, women and children do not spend the night in their own homes. They stay with friends and relatives, in shelters, and in cars. And many sleep outside - seeking whatever warmth and shelter from the elements they can find.
Gimme Shelter is an event hosted by the South Side Office of Concern (SSOC) to raise awareness of the challenges faced by those in our community without homes and to give our citizens an opportunity to help in the fight to end homelessness in Central Illinois.Friday Feb 8, 2019 Saturday Feb 9, 2019
6:00 PM Friday, February 8 – 6:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2019
Peoria Civic Center
201 SW Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL 61602
